Experience LatiNola

Experience LatiNola, LatiNola’s largest community event of the year, was a great success on Saturday. In its second year, the event grew to include two stages in Lakeside mall, with performances all day by thirteen latin groups and performers. Thirty-six community agencies also participated, providing vital informaton about their services. The arts and crafts tables were busy with children making tissue paper flowers and other crafts. Our LatiNola volunteers were able to connect with many community members of different backgrounds. LatiNola is growing and we are excited to have the community get to know us and what we do. Thanks to everyone who attended, and a special thanks to all our volunteers, performers, community agencies, and sponsors for a great turn out and an awesome day celebrating Latino culture in the New Orleans area!
