Students to Document Bayou Cultures

Middle school students will be collecting stories from members of vanishing bayou communities in order to preserve the cultures.   The project, titled “In the Slow Blink of an Alligator’s Eye: Wetlands Vanish” will include the accounts of American Indian, Black, Cajun, and Latino individuals.  Read more.
