Come to LatiNola’s Relaunch and Volunteer Orientation
You love the site, now it’s time to get involved and see all that we do behind the scenes. You are cordially invited to the re-launch of the LatiNola Planning Team and volunteer orientation on Wednesday, January 20 from 6-8pm at Felipe’s in the French Quarter. Dinner will be provided! This will be a good time- a chance for all volunteers old and new to meet each other, re-connect, and learn about how you can become involved!
Come learn about LatiNola, hear what we have done and where we are going, and why we are so energized to have you join us this year. Volunteers who have been with us from the start will be there to tell you about some of the projects we have for the year, including voter education and outreach, youth leadership conference, and more! Plus, we’ll have group brainstorm activities to generate more project ideas you will be excited to get started on. Whether you are looking to give a couple hours a month, or want to learn how to design and lead your own project, or anywhere in between, LatiNola is a great way to start giving time and developing your skills!
LatiNola is as good as the volunteers we work with, so we are so excited to bring in your talent, energy, and dedication! Bring your friends, and feel free to pass this invitation on to anyone who might be interested in coming or joining LatiNola as a volunteer. Can’t wait to see you there!
Rsvp by calling 504 821 7228 or email Christina: cdecker@puentesno.org, so we can get a count for tasty food from Felipes. You can also rsvp and invite your friends and family at www.facebook.com/latinola. If you cannot attend but would like to learn more you can also get in touch with Christina.
See you soon,
The LatiNola Team
