New Orleans Named New Gateway City for Immigration

The Americas Society and Council of the Americas (AS/COA), a New York-based research institution, has named New Orleans as one of five new “gateway cities” for immigration from Latin America.  The AS/COA will focus on these five cities in their efforts to encourage hiring and training of immigrants.  Read more about the project from the Omaha World-Herald.
