Business Training Seminars Conducted in Spanish
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will conduct a new series of evening business training courses in Spanish at the Hispanic Business Resources & Technology Center (HBRTC) in Metairie.
The HBRTC is housed on the campus of the Louisiana Technical College at 5200 Blair Drive, Building 1, Room 22, Metairie, LA 70001 (next to the Budweiser facility on Airline Drive near Transcontinental).
These courses are the result of a partnership with the LSBDC (Louisiana Small Business Development Center). It is the first time these courses have been translated and offered in Spanish through their wide array of programs. Ruperto Chavarri, a native of Spain, will be the Instructor.
The series calendar till the end of the year is as follows:
· Tues. Oct. 20th – Como estructurar e inscribir su negocio (how to form and register your business)
· Tues. Nov. 10th – Como empezar y financiar su negocio (how to start and finance your business)
· Thurs. Nov. 19th – Como escribir un plan de negocio (how to write a business plan)
· Thurs. Dec. 3rd – Como estructurar e inscriber su negocio (repeat of how to form and register your business)
· Tues. Dec. 8th – como estructurar e inscriber su negocio (repeat of how to start and finance your business)
In 2010, we will repeat these courses on a rotating basis, as well as add new themes including:
· Los cinco pasos para conseguir financiacion (the 5 steps to acquire financing)
· Como intrepretar estados financieros (how to interpret financial statements)
· Como empezar a importer y exporter (how to begin to import and export).
TIME: Classes will be held in the evening from 6:00-8:00PM
