Did you know that New Orleans now boasts a running of the bulls event similar to the Pamplona, Spain event? It’s true. If the folks at San Fermin in Nueva Orleans have anything to say about it, this 2nd annual event will become a staple New Orleans tradition. According to the event organizer’s website, nolabulls.com, the event was inaugurated July 7, 2007. This year, the event continues, and begins promptly at 8:00 am on July 12.
