Future Houston Majority Hispanic
In a Houston Chronicle article dated July 29, 2008, Houston’s demographic shift from majority Anglo to majority Hispanic is reported as being documented by a Rice University Sociologist. According to the sociologist, 70 percent of Houston’s population above 60 is Anglo and 75 percent of Houston’s population at or below 30 is non-Anglo, mostly Hispanic.
